Wow. A cold front just blew in and put on the most spectacular rainbow display Pamelia or I have ever seen. I'll let the photos (some of them taken in the pouring rain) tell the story.
My camera's lens didn't have a wide enough angle to show the whole first 'bow.
So first I'll show you the left hand side...
...and then I'll show you the right-hand side...
...and then the first double rainbow...
...and then the second double rainbow, which arrived 10 minutes later, after another rain squall. This rainbow appeared to reach almost to our doorstep.
Oh,and when the show was over the temperature had dropped by at least 10 degrees. Not a bad sendoff for the big trip we're starting tomorrow.
P.S. The Notebook will still be open even though we'll be away.
