This final event in our Summer Naturalists Series with Maine Outdoor School will highlight mushroom diversity, with special emphasis on identification. We’ll discuss edibility as well as a general exploration of how mushrooms fit into the larger autumn ecology on the Coast of Maine. Program leader Hazel Stark is a registered Maine Guide. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic and a Professional Science Master's degree in Resource Management and Conservation from Antioch University New England. Suggested participant age of 12+, but all ages and experience levels are welcome.
