Fun Fungi & Awesome Autumn - Summer Naturalist Series with Maine Outdoor School

This final event in our Summer Naturalists Series with Maine Outdoor School will highlight mushroom diversity, with special emphasis on identification. We’ll discuss edibility as well as a general exploration of how mushrooms fit into the larger autumn ecology on the Coast of Maine. We will meet at The Naturalist’s Notebook and the exact location of the woods walk will be sent upon registration, click HERE to do so.

Program leader Hazel Stark is a registered Maine Guide. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic and a Professional Science Master's degree in Resource Management and Conservation from Antioch University New England. Suggested participant age of 12+, but all ages and experience levels are welcome.
